Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Files are zipped entirely in your browser, so nothing leaves your device.
Can I add a password to the ZIP?
Not yet. For sensitive PDFs, use Protect PDF to add a password to the file itself before you zip it.
Why do some files barely shrink?
Photos, videos, PDFs and Office files are already compressed, so File Station stores them as they are. Text, code and other raw files shrink the most.
