Frequently asked questions
How do I resize an image to an exact size?
Pick a preset such as Instagram post or Story, or enter your own width and height. Turn off Lock aspect ratio to choose Stretch, Fit or Fill when the proportions differ.
Why did my resized GIF become a PNG?
Browsers can't re-encode GIFs or BMPs in their original format, so Resize Image saves them as PNG. Animated GIFs keep only their first frame.
Will resizing make my image blurry?
Shrinking keeps detail well because large downscales are done in steps. Enlarging can't add real detail, so use the original size when you can.
